Join us for a transformative retreat at Tongo Oasis, 2 hrs drive from Tamale Airport, North of Ghana.
This 7-day retreat offers a blend of practical experiences centered around nature and natural living guided by your host:
Joshua Kwaku Asiedu, Abena Offeh-Gyimah
and a few of the elders of the village like our dear Mama Hawa.
You will stay in our private vernacular rooms, or sharing rooms, private tents, as well on our roof top, star gazing while falling asleep within the freshness of the night. You will be having full access to out shared cozy open roofed and enclosed showers, compost and flashing toilets, common dining hall, and delicious traditional plant-based meals.
In addition to the tranquil environment, you will actively engage in the following:
Natural Food Processing: Learn to make Coconut Oil, Coconut Milk, and Cacao Bars, Shea Butter, Cooking Class
Herbal Medicine: Discover techniques for healing from malaria, typhoid, and menstrual pain, among other remedies.
Ancient Pottery: Experience the process from soil to clay.
Q&A on Self-Sustainability and Off-Grid Living
